Over the past five years we have invested significantly in surgical training, equipment and facilities here at Oakhill in Windermere. Our team of Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses proudly offer a wide range of surgical procedures supported by certificate holders in Small Animal Medicine, Small Animal Surgery and Veterinary Anaesthesia. We currently routinely offer first opinion and referral procedures which include but are not limited to:
ORTHOPAEDIC
- Orthopaedic Cruciate Surgery
including Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) and Lateral Suture - Luxating patella surgery
including trochlea deepening and tibial tuberosity transposition - Hip Surgery
including toggle and femoral head and neck excision - Fracture fixation
including pinning, plating and external skeletal fixation

- Rotational Skin Flaps
- Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway (BOA) Surgery

By operating our own dedicated out-of-hours service and state of the art Animal Rehabilitation Centre we can also ensure that patient care is catered for in the post-operatic period.
