However, there are times you may need additional trusted support or specific treatments. At Oakhill we are happy to assist the wider veterinary community when needed. We will work with you to ensure that, at the end of their referral journey, your client is both happy and satisfied. We are always available to talk you through the most appropriate treatment options for your client and their pet. Our pre- and post-operative veterinary and client information is clear and easy to understand, our all-inclusive pricing structure makes it easy for you to discuss the, often tricky subject of cost (see Price List).
Our advice and support for other vets and pet owners
Our Oakhill team includes inhouse Veterinary Certificate holders in Surgery, Medicine and Anaesthesia, supported by Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN’s). We are also a proactive Nurse Training Practice. At Oakhill we are proud to be able to offer our own dedicated out-of-hours service for our own clients and referring vets, to ensure our patients receive the care they need in the pre- and post-operative period. We are proud to offer referral Surgical and Diagnostic Imaging procedures using the highly skilled services of Visiting Certified Veterinary Surgeons.
Accommodation in the heart of The Lake District
Oakhill Vets is based in Windermere in the beautiful Lake District. We are happy to take referrals from clients further afield. Most owners from outside the local area find that combining their pet’s surgery at Oakhill with a break in The Lakes allows them to reduce the stress to of referral, during their pet’s assessment, treatment and post-operative recovery period.
