Rehabilitation Centre Nurse (RVN) 

Oakhill Veterinary Group are looking to recruit a dedicated and professional Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to provide the day to day operational management of the new Lake District Animal Rehabilitation Centre.  The centre is due to open in March 2019 with the role and training due to start in February 2019.

Oakhill Veterinary Group are a long established independent, warm and professional community mixed practice group based in the Lake District with locations in Windermere and Ambleside.  As well as playing an important part in our local community the practice has a developing portfolio of referral work.

Our clients are our community and are as passionate about the proactive care of their animals as we are, welcoming new and innovative approaches to healthcare.

With grant support from DEFRA, and the Cumbria LEADER programme the practice is currently building a rehabilitation centre with modalities to include:  aquatic treadmill therapy, laser therapy, acupuncture, physiotherapy and ultrasound.  The centre will be veterinary led with a fully qualified veterinary clinical lead.  

We are looking to recruit a RVN who ideally holds or is working towards advanced qualifications in veterinary rehabilitation.  Previous experience in this field would be ideal.

Salary:  Commensurate with experience

Additional benefits:  Annual holiday entitlement of 4 weeks (plus a share of the Christmas holiday entitlement typically another week), workplace pension scheme, RCVS annual registration fee, personal CPD budget per annum.
